Tube Dreams specializes in high-end tube audio gear, both new and used. We are an authorized dealer for Cary Audio Design tube and solid state electronics as well as Totem Acoustic and Usher Audio speakers.
We also usually have some select used items, currently we have a Shanling CD T-100 tube CD player ($999).
For those on a tighter budget, we frequently have restored vintage equipment including Dynaco power amps and preamps. We currently have one restored Dynaco ST-70 with our Audiophile Board with Solen FAST caps and a new quad of SED EL34 ($649) and a PAS-3 preamplifier ($249). We also restore other vintage tube audio gear.

We now have an exciting Cary Xciter demo setup. The Xciter DAC is $1500. The Xciter integrated amplifier is $2750. It is shown here with my personal favorite output tubes, the Mullard EL37. (These tubes are not included at MSRP.)
The Xciter combo is an excellent audiophile solution for your Macintosh.

This Audio Electronic Supply AE-25 Superamp with oil caps is a great starter power amp. The tube complement includes :
- 2 NOS RCA cleartop 6CG7
- 2 NOS Amperex 7308
- New quad JJ/Tesla 6L6GC output tubes
For those not familiar with the Superamp, the beauty of this self-biasing amp is the wide range of output tubes which can be used in it: 6550, KT88, KT77, KT66, EL37, EL34, 6L6, and 6V6. Here are the manufacturer’s specs:
